Bodycology’s Shower Gel and Foaming Bath (I don’t have a bath so this will just be based on the shower gel aspect) in the scent Cucumber Melon.

This is my favourite soap. It is so refreshing and smells just like melon and cucumbers, exactly. It lathers really nicely and promises to improve skin texture and make it softer and I feel as though it does just that. I tend to use it with my exfoliating mittens and my skin is really soft and clean feeling. This body wash also lasts forever, I’ve had this bottle for about 5 weeks now (Mind you I am the only one using it but still). You can pick this up from Priceline ($10) and I’m also pretty sure you can get it from Walmart (Don’t know, never been to Walmart). This brand also makes hand soaps, and hand sanitizers, which I will definitely be checking out. Great product, it smells great and good value for money. Thanks guys, cya.

The Body Shop’s Virgin Minerals Cream Compact Foundation.

The body shop, they make great soap, I love them. I had never tried any of their makeup products though (Aside from their amazing brow pencil) until the Extra Virgin Minerals Cream Compact foundation. I have a love/hate relationship with this product so if you want to hear more about that, keep on reading.

This product was a very spur of the moment purchase, I had seen ads but really, how much can you trust those?  The sales girl tried it on me and came to the conclusion that I was the shade “rose ivory”. The foundation seemed to be medium coverage, matte finish but not very buildable but it looked like it would be okay. The next morning I started applying this product with the little brush it comes with (for the review’s sake, okay?) and my face was left incredibly streaky. So when using this I recommend buffing it in with a brush (I use the Body Shop’s Body and Face Brush, which is an awkward shape but does the job) or very patiently using your fingers. For me this foundation has a really great wear time, I can go to school and look decent when I come home (Great accomplishment in this bloody humid weather). Although, if you have any freckles or rosacea you would like to cover I do not recommend this product, I have a few freckles around my eyes and this product almost highlighted them! And that’s not something I wanted. The product’s packaging is a little deceiving, as shown above the compact opens and there’s your foundation, the foundation pan can be lifted to show the brush. As you can see the foundation pan is not very deep, you do not get very much product. I hit pan within a month. I just feel this product is quite expensive for how much you get!

If you don’t want to read my life story:

Pros: Great wear time.

            Skin feels soft and smooth.

Cons: Shitty packaging.

            Shitty brush.

Doesn’t really cover freckles very well.

Pretty expensive for the amount of product you get!

This foundation retails for $48.95 (Aus) and comes in 6 shades.
